> Bethlehem Program: CJME seeks to educate the American public about the issues involved in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the humanitarian crisis experienced by Palestinians due to the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. With this purpose in mind, we prepared a brochure "Christmas in Bethlehem," which was distributed to churches this Christmas season. It presents some basic facts about the plight of the Christian Palestinians in the Holy Land, who, along with other Palestinians, are suffering from the intensifying privations of the Israeli military occupation.  » BROCHURE | REQUEST BROCHURES FOR DISTRIBUTION TO YOUR CHURCH

> 11/17: A spirited discussion with approximately 50 in attendance followed the presentation of "In the Name of Security" - a documentary on the April 2002 invasion of West Bank cities and refugee camps. The presentation was sponsored by the UMKC chapter of National Lawyers Guild, Citizens for Justice in the Middle East and KC Greens. CJME member and KC area resident Barbara Leclerq presented her observations of conditions in Bethlehem during her September 2003 trip.

> 11/9: Sixteen people participated in a Women (and men) in Black vigil against the apartheid wall. See End the Occupation or Stop the Wall web sites for information on the November 9 International Day of Solidarity with Palestinians against the Separation Wall.
