June 21 - US Senator McCaskill participates in state-wide tele-conference on Palestine-Israel
On Monday June 21, at approximately 3 pm, several concerned citizens from Kansas City, St. Louis, and Columbia met via teleconference with Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill from her Washington office. The teleconference was organized by St. Louis resident Michael Berg. Present at the meeting were several Kansas City area residents, as well as a group of St. Louis residents led by Hedy Epstein, Holocaust survivor who has tried to get into Gaza four times now. Several activists from Columbia also joined the conference.

Meeting prompted by news reports on settlements
Members of Citizens for Justice in the Middle East (CJME) met with Corey Dillon, regional director of Sen. Claire McCaskill's KC office, on Tuesday, December 8. The purpose of the meeting was to present stories about how settlements impact Palestinians within their territory and urge the legislator to actively support balanced resolution to the conflict.
