Your chance to contribute to strengthen "peace & democracy" school

Citizens for Justice in the Middle East advocate for a more just U.S. foreign policy. When U.S. foreign policy fails to bring about peace between Israel and Palestinians, we can develop “citizen diplomacy” by building people-to-people ties. Toward this end CJME supports Hope Flowers School, a private kindergarten/grade school founded on the principle of raising a new generation of children believing in peace, democracy, freedom, and respect for the needs of others.

Much more than just a school, Hope Flowers School provides psychosocial support, training for therapists and teachers in supporting traumatized children, retreats to promote interfaith dialogue, women’s empowerment programs, and winter clothing for children whose families are unable to afford it.

Over the past few years, CJME has raised several thousand dollars to help provide teacher salaries, scholarships for children whose families cannot afford the tuition, general operating expenses, and warm clothing for children.  Since November 2009, CJME and local church partners have raised about $1,200.

Won’t you help us support this unique school that is making a real difference?  Please make your check payable to CJME and mail to:
